Learning about voting with Mr. Worley

This was posted at "Do you remember this in Mt. Morris (Facebook) by Mr. Worley's daughter. Appears to be either civics class or American history, but the students are definitely class of 1957.

From left: Duane, Sharon, Pat, Myron, Mary Lou, Jon. Can anyone identify the adults?

if it were not for the class member from '57 the ladies serving as judges of election look circa 1930,with their hairdos and dresses. The one brave sole voting in slacks looks more 8o's. I remember clearly going up to the old town hall that warm autumn day,and having it all explained. I had tagged along with my dad in '52 but had paid little attention. Those judges put in a long day...polls opened real early and they hand counted the ballots unitl they got it right and sometimes it went on into late evening or early morning-no machines in those days.
Many thanks to JR's daughter from bring back the fond memories of her dad and one of the many things he taught us. Class emember 1957

I think the person wearing the slacks is a man--still much more dressed up than you would find today.

I yield to the class back side expert.. But "he" looks pretty lumpy to be a guy and we were suspose to be in better shape in those days. So much for that!
